What is a Goldendoodle?

Goldendoodles are an amazing hybrid dog resulting from breedings between a Golden Retriever and Poodle.

What is a Bernedoodle?

Bernedoodles are a cross between a Bernese Mountain Dog and Poodle. We love this hybrid breed because they are calm and gentle and perfect for kids.

What does F1b mean?

F1, F1b, F2 all describe the generations of a hybrid dog. An F1 is the offspring of a Golden Retriever and Poodle; a 50/50 mix.

F1b means there was a “backcross” to one of the original parent breeds. So, like an F1 Goldendoodle bred back to a Poodle. This is our favorite generation because they shed the least!

F2 is a Goldendoodle bred to a Goldendoodle.

What’s a Goldendoodle’s personality like?

Goldendoodles are loyal and loving, but also smart and spunky. They are fit into almost any lifestyle and are always happy to please.

How big is a Mini Goldendoodle? What about Medium?

There are no set Goldendoodle size standards, so at Joley Aire, we consider Medium to be 35-50 lbs and Mini to be 20-35lbs.

What does the adoption process look like?

We try to make things as simple and enjoyable as possible for future puppy owners.

First, you’ll complete an application.

Once approved, we’ll ask for deposit to secure your spot in line for a puppy.

At 4-6 weeks old, we allow those on the waiting list to pick their puppy.

Then when the puppies are ready to go home, we arrange for a pick up time/date or shipping arrangements.
