Why we love it
Our mission is to raise perfect family dogs because we believe that a good dog can impact the lives of the families they live with in incredible ways. Everything we do, from our breeding decisions to the way we raise our puppies in the first 8 weeks is done with that mission in mind. However, 8 weeks isn’t enough to make a good family dog. They will need many more weeks after they leave us of training and socialization to become the best dog they can be. That’s where Baxter & Bella comes in!
Training a puppy can be a difficult experience if you aren’t consistent or know what specific exercises to do in each stage of the puppy’s development. On the flip side, it can be an incredibly fun and rewarding experience when you are empowered with a training program like Baxter & Bella. Look, I’m not a dog trainer. I’m a breeder (a pretty good one if you ask our previous customers). For years, I’ve produced incredible puppies and poured everything I have into raising them to be excellent family dogs, but I’ve always known something was missing from our program. We have always done our best to equip our puppy buyers with information before they take their puppies home, but training was an area that I knew was lacking. I didn’t have a clear, easy-to-follow program for our puppy buyers, and, honestly, didn’t have the time to develop one. I considered becoming a certified trainer, but then I feared spending too much time learning to train would take away from my expertise as a breeder.
