About this puppy
Paprika is our bold and beautiful phantom female, strikingly marked and already showing signs of being a big, sturdy girl. Born May 19th, 2025, she’ll be ready for her new home starting July 14th. Paprika carries herself with confidence and curiosity, always the first to investigate a new toy or explore a new corner of the room. Her calm nature and steady build suggest she’ll grow into a loyal, gentle companion — perfect for families who want a Bernedoodle with both presence and a playful heart. Raised in our loving Illinois home, she’s getting daily socialization and lots of snuggles to set her up for a happy, well-adjusted future.
Health and Price note: Paprika had a rough start to life (you can read more in this blog post), and as a result, has a fairly large hernia on her tummy. It will need repair, which can be done when she is spayed fairly easily and won’t need an additional recovery period. The hernia does not cause her pain or affect her life in anyway. Her price has been reduced to reflect the cost of repair.
Paprika is such a gentle soul with the sweetest, most thoughtful personality! This precious girl has a naturally quiet and reserved nature that makes her absolutely endearing to watch. While her littermates might be in the thick of all the action, Paprika is perfectly content to observe from the sidelines with those beautiful, contemplative eyes. She's our little observer who seems to take everything in and process it in her own gentle way. Don't think she's completely passive though - every once in a while, she'll surprise us by jumping into a playful tussle with her sisters, showing she's got that playful puppy spirit too! What I love most about Paprika is how she approaches life with such calm grace. She would be absolutely perfect for a family who appreciates a more reserved, gentle companion who still has those wonderful moments of playfulness. Paprika is going to grow up to be one of those dogs who brings such peaceful, loving energy to her family's home!

Paprika wasn’t real thrilled about pictures this week. She was sleepy and a little nervous under the lights, so I gave her an emotional support pig. After pictures were done, she carried the pig around the house!
